The kusenaoshi (chasen rest) is designed to preserve the delicate shape of bloomed bamboo whisk tines. Made of heavy stoneware to prevent lifting or tipping, each piece receives a rich hand-glazing that puts a fine Japanese chasen (bamboo whisk) on display.
