Mellifera is a proud supporter of the URI Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) and the Rhody Bike Club. The BME department plays a vital role in the community, providing research and creative solutions to improve the quality of life for people suffering physical impairments. As a Rhode Island based company, we are excited to add these URI programs to our "Products with a Cause", and we have the perfect product to tap into for funding.

Our partners at Slopeside produce extraordinary maple syrup, which is a healthy alternative to conventional sugar. Five percent of every Slopeside purchase goes to funding new research and development in the BME department, and supporting the Rhody Bike Club with new gear.
