Hammered stainless chasaji (little tea spoon) made in Tsubame, Japan, where metal-craft dates back to the Edo period. The tsuchime (hand-hammered pattern) is a highly skilled technique that renders each piece unique and pleasing to the touch. This tsuchime chasaji is made to pair with our hand-hammered matcha sifter, precisely shaped to fit the inner sphere of the sifter's two-stage screen, for working matcha through. In Japan this process is called shugata (before preparation), referring to the bolting of matcha through a sieve prior to the tea ceremony; a process that yields an uninterrupted tea ritual with a smooth, full-bodied matcha experience.

Made in Tsubame, Niigata, Japan

Food Grade Stainless Steel

Dimensions: 1.75" scoop diameter, holds approximately 2-4g of loose tea
