Japanese tea growers call this matcha, MATSUKO, which means "Evergreen Heart", reminiscent of the iconic pine tree which remains vibrant through the cold seasons. MATSUKO premium grade matcha is organically grown and crafted from a single-estate blend of Yabukita and Okumidori cultivars. It is slowly ground in a stone mill to preserve its evergreen color and deep flavor, which has the distinct aroma of a wet forest with sunlit pine lingering on the palate. Organic matcha of this quality is rare even within Japan.

Koga Kumiko and her family represent the fourth generation of tea farmers, continuing their long-standing tea traditions. They are committed to upholding strict quality standards, including ISO 9001 certification, and are among the few producers in Kyushu offering high-quality organic matcha and genmaicha.
