Organic Basil Marinara
Fresh Basil · Savory · Smooth
Sicilian basil marinara made with organically grown Corleonese tomatoes, basil, and olive oil
About this product
Bona Furtuna presents authentic Italian basil marinara made with organic Corleonese ingredients. Handpicked Corleonese heirloom tomatoes are puréed and strained using stainless equipment, to produce a vibrant garden-fresh sauce. It is an ideal sauce for pasta and pizza, pairing well with roasted zucchini and flat bread.
Basil Marinara sauce is produced in central Sicily on the La Fortuna farm with 100% organic Corleonese tomatoes, a native variety native to Corleone. It is made with no added sugar or preservatives by Bona Furtuna, one of the few commercial producers of the prized Corleonese tomato.
