This Cookie Policy explains how Mellifera LLC (“Mellifera,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on mellifera.com and related storefront and account pages. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What These Technologies Are

Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. We also use or may use pixels, scripts, tags, local storage, session storage, server-set identifiers, and similar technologies. Privacy and electronic-communications laws may apply to all of these technologies, not only cookies.

2. Our Categories

  • Strictly necessary: required for security, authentication, consent choices, cart and checkout operation, load balancing, and services you expressly request. These cannot be switched off through the optional-cookie control.
  • Functionality: remembers optional preferences and enhances features that are not essential to the core service.
  • Measurement: helps us understand visits, product and feature use, and site performance.
  • Marketing: recognizes a browser or customer for campaign measurement, behavioral profiles, personalized messages, browse/cart-abandonment, or advertising.

Where consent is required, functionality, measurement, and marketing technologies remain off until you select the relevant category. Rejecting optional technologies does not prevent ordinary shopping, account access, or VIP cancellation.

Mellifera currently offers services only in the United States. We may use ordinary, measurement-only analytics without a Measurement opt-in, subject to this Policy and applicable law. Advertising, remarketing, Google Signals, and cross-context behavioral advertising are off by default. We will update these controls and this Policy before offering the site outside the United States.

3. Your Choices

On your first visit, you can Accept all, Reject all, or Customize optional categories using controls with comparable prominence. Optional controls are off by default where consent is required.

You can later change or withdraw consent through the Cookie Preferences link in the site footer. Withdrawal stops future optional collection; it does not undo processing already lawfully completed. We will clear optional first-party identifiers and request vendor cleanup where technically supported.

We do not currently use targeted-advertising or sale/sharing features and are below the CCPA business thresholds. If that changes, we will add the required privacy-choice controls and Global Privacy Control handling. Legacy “Do Not Track” signals are not standardized and may not be honored.

Browser controls can block or delete cookies, but blocking strictly necessary cookies can prevent account, cart, checkout, or security functions from working.
