A decade ago, the founder of Mellifera had a vision for increasing the impact of organic farming while strolling through his organic fruit orchard. "There is something about the iconic orchard grove that strikes a cord at the deepest level of our being." The harmony of the beehive producing wild organic honey and the abundance of organic fruit that came as a result was a kind of wellness epiphany. "If I can harness the power of nature like a beehive, which in a very real sense produces honey and fruit, then I can do more than just provide physical wellbeing, I can also stimulate the fruit of mental wellness to organically heal body and soul." It was this concept that finally became a reality in 2022, when Mellifera was established.
